The City of Stratford is seeking a permanent full-time Firefighter to join the Stratford Fire Department. The successful candidate will perform responsible service work in fire profession and prevention, working under the supervision of an Officer. Key responsibilities include responding to alarms, providing emergency medical response, and conducting inspections and training programs.
Qualifications
Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent. Valid Entry Level Firefighter Cooperative Personnel Services (CPS) Test Results. Valid Ontario Drivers Licence (DZ Endorsement). Valid Physical Fitness Assessment Test Results. Current First Aid/CPR Certifications. Valid OFAI certificates for stages 1 and 2. Capability of successfully completing OFAI stage 3 and swim test within 4 months of hire.
